    Hey guys and girls,

So I may be buying an aquarium from my friend with an almost complete set for salt water.

Before I make the final decision, which looks pretty good with what I've researched on the 3reef forum, I just wanted to run it by all of you. Please let me know what you think.

-A black 72 gallon Bow Front Oceanic reef-ready saltwater tank*

    -48" Coralife Lunar Aqualight*

    -Black tank stand

    -Black tank cap*

    -2 glass canopies*

    - Mag 9.5 pump*

    -Coralife 125 skimmer*

    -Stealth 250 watt heater*

    -PCLR 175 wet/dry pump

-A hard cover book on saltwater fish

    -A hydrometer

    -A water test kit

-About 20 pounds of sea salt

    -Thermometer

    -Magnetic tank cleaner*

    -Water proof power supply*

    -A siphon

Also, please let me know what you think I can upgrade on this setup and what I can add.

    Thank you all. :)

Great deal, congrats on the new system! Is the tank already drilled for an overflow?

I'm not really sure. Where would it need to be drilled?

If it is, "reef ready," that would mean it is drilled. Sounds like an awesome deal.

Right, good point. I clearly can't function without pictures. I don't suppose you could post a few?

Good deal. But if you are thinking of a reef tank, or if you want more than just a few fish, you will eventually want to upgrade your skimmer and lights (the ones for sale are not great for that size system). Also, I would look into getting a sump, and not necessarily use the wet-dry filter (they just produce lots of nitrates). Just my 2 cents.

Seems like a good deal. With some minor upgrades you'll be set.
