    Welp,
Happy Birthday to me, today marks my 29th time around the sun!

So, as a result, the wife and I went out today and picked up a 30 breeder that is drilled and came with a stand. Tho it was $275 , in my area - that's a major steal.

So, we got it home just a lil while ago and then we went thru all the boxes of stuff (remember we just moved) and pulled out all the sand and rock we have and have started to clean them up and get ready to put it all together tomorrow.

I'll get pix uploaded in the morning - right now we are pulling the different plans we had together to come up with a solid idea for this tank. Right now, it appears we will be using this as a small frag/grow out tank that will host our mated pair of clowns. We are also going to break down the cubes we have and put all the sand and some rock - into the new setup.

Right now, I have about 50lbs of rock sitting outside in the sun that I just rinsed off along with 60lbs of sand sitting in water waiting to dry out.

Can you tell which one is the 12k and which is the 20k ? Think I'm gonna need to go ahead and get another 20k bulb..

I took this pic so you could see the lights reflection in the bottom of the tank

We are thinking of using our old 25g for the sump.. Not 100% sure yet, a few months back we spent about 8 hours drawing up so many different things that we wanted to do and put them in a folder.. Tonight, after we have cake and sing happy bday.... We are gonna pull them out and figure out what type of setup we are gonna do for sure.

TY for all the posts, I'll gonna go out real quick with the camera on the cell and take a pic and upload it.. brb

So the wife and I ran to Lowes and picked up some spray paint (her pick not mine) and painted the back of the glass.. I'm not personally impressed, and think I'll be going back and picking up some roll-on paint. I wanted John Deer Green but she made me get blue.. Go figure.. lol

Anywho, tomorrow i'm gonna mix the water and get the salt going.

OAH YEA! I finally got some egg crate at lowes! Took us 30 minutes to finally find it, and it was $11 for a 6ft by 3ft sheet.

The paint is dry, and set just put it in the kitchen where it's gonna stay. I also went to a LFS and picked up a little MH setup. 2x 175 pendants and ballast's for $200 cash. I was excited, specially how they came with an extra bulb each. One light is 10k the other is 20k .. So I'm excited!

I took pix and updated the first post so everyone can check them out. Once the tank is setup (that's what we are doing tonight) I'll pop a few more pics.

Aight, finally got the MH hung..
You can tell that one is brighter than the other, that's due to one being 20k and the other being 12k . I think I'm gonna replace the 12k and put in a 20k and just have two 20's going. It's either that or just take the 12k MH down all together and save it unless I run into issues. OR... I could use it on my aquapod, not 100% sure yet, but I'm really starting to feel happy about this setup.

    Here is a side-view. ;)
