    Thanks Otty and Ermano!

The wife and I went ahead and took down the 12k MH and have the 20k centered all by it'self. Still, at 175 watts - I'm sitting at a lil over 6watts per gallon so I'm super excited. I'll throw the lil 12k on the 24g cube.

We just finished putting 17gallons in the tank and thew in the CA2200 pump (the one we use for our return) to get water moving a bit. We might hold off on adding the sump for a few weeks - so I'm trying to figure out how i'm gonna block up that hole in the back. Might just keep it intact and pull the hose up so no water get's out.

Here is a pic of it with 17g of water in with the MH on.

    Welp, it's almost 1am here..
Just finished mixing my salt and put it in.

I had to plug my drilled hole in the aquarium. My return pump is putting water in too fast and the tank is not able to keep up. So I'm gonna have to down-grade or get a box to put over the hole to create the surface skimmer.

We are going to use egg-crate in this setup, not much rock at all... Maybe just a few small parts that have growth on it from the other tank.. But that's about it.

It looks fine with out it - but I'm thinking of picking up a small single tube .. not 100% sure yet.

How would you set something like that up? With the MH being hung...how would you add actinics to it?

OH i meant to ask, what kind of fixture is that? :)

It's not gonna remain hung like it is, I'm gonna get a canopy going soon as my mom and step-dad get moved into next door so I'll have all his tools to break.. err, I mean use.

It's an Aqua Medic Ocean Light. The 175watt fixture.
