Fritts - 30long (Work in Progress)

Wife and I picked it up at a hobby shop. It's a 3d background that changes when light hits it. Cost about 40cents a foot. Cheaper than the stuff at the lfs!!

The maroon clown and the perc are ok together in there?

 

I know I am a little bit behind but i just read your whole thread. A 40's measurements are approximately 48x12x17 and a 40 Breeder is 36x18x17 and a 30 is 36x12x17 and a 30 breeder is 36x18x13

So if that tank is 36x12x18 it is is most likely a 30 gallon, I thought you might like to know this in case you have to calculate water volume when and if you start dosing that tank. I get this info from the Aqueon site

 

The maroon stays on the "left" side of the tank and the perc's are on the right side. They sometimes meet in the middle during feeding time but they don't attack each other at all.

How ever, my perc's are attacking me now .. lil'jerks! lol

Added 2 blue damsel's to the tank last night.....
I only have 1 more fish on my list that I want and it's a Blue Tang or the Powder Blue Tang.... Once I get one of those, I just need to add a scooter and I'm all done with live-stock.

Nice lights. The tank is coming along great, I like that 3D back ground. Must be fun to smoke a blunt and trip out on the back ground and all.....lmao Luna

 

What fixture and lighting did you end up with? I have the same dimension tank as you and am contemplating what lighting to go with.

Aquarium Lightings - T5 Lighting and T6 Lighting

Nice lil setup, but I had to install fans on my own for it.

 

NO real update as of now, but I'm already looking to upgrade to a 120g in a week or two. IF so, this tank will be retired to the bedroom and transformed into the frag tank my wife has been wanting.
