Purchased a 3 head FS from LPS 3 days ago, and its still closed ?? looks to be ok color wise ....just closed. Is there a time peroid that i should be concerned about it not opening ? maybe move it to a differnet area in tank ? its was in a medium flow area for 2 days....and i diverted the flow a little making it a low area to see if it liked that better ??

    Thanks

I can take a couple of days for it to open, if you don't see any improvement you may want to see if you can take it back.

Thanks GuitarMan for the response ......I will post a picture here soon....I think it looks ok...just closed ...I also got a Large Feather Duster that was on a rock with some purple stuff covering it...I forgot the name of it ....it has lots of little nipples on it that small hair like folicles come out of...green tipped, and a small looking purple mushroon on it. will get photo up soon.

Could the angle of placement be an issue ?? its slanted...not quite a 45 degree ?

Believe it, but they can be closed up more than that. I thik they are fine as long as your pars are in order. Hopefully your light isnt to strong right now.

time will tell I would also double check all paramiters sometime there is something off. If paramiters ok then just give it a few more days.
