Frog Spawn

    I'm getting t5 lights in soon!!, and i was thinking about in a few months after I get my tank at the right cal. and trace. etc at the levels where they should be i was lookin at maybe getting a frog spawn for the tank. I have a black and white occ. that i think would love it and i was just wondering what it takes to keep them in a reef tank?. thanks!:) and if theres any pictures of clowns hosting frogspawn feel free to send em!

    They need moderate lighting and flow. You can spot feed finely chopped meaty food. Feeding once a week is fine.

    96W of t5 plenty? i could have it in middle of the tank or does it need to be on the sand?

    Frogspawn is not a great choice for a clownfish host. Their "snuggling" can actually damage the frogspawns flesh on it's own skeleton. Chances are, it would rather host your heater anyways.... clownfish are weird.

    As for their care. Super easy. Just provide light and medium flow. Ca, Mg, and Alk levels are not that important. If you do normal water changes, your levels will be fine.

    The lighting is plenty and placement on the sand is best. Torches can go higher though.

    I was also looking at torches as well, sounds like that might be best for what im going for. I like the way they look over frog spawn actually. cant wait =]
