frogfish ideas. do you think it would work?

    if the frogfish eat too much then they might stop feeding all together. dependgin on how big he is the damsels would not become food but would stress the frogfish out much more than necissary. my clownfish stressed mine out a lot and took the food making it hard to feed him. i would get them out personally.

    That is so cool Gexx!!! This is going to be exciting, I love these guys :). Do you know which one your going to get yet? Or do you plan on getting one from your LFS?

    im planning on a leaf fish not a frogfish now. they stay smaller and are venemous and are actually scorpionfish so it is a cousin of the lionfish. max size-4 inches. dont move and can change color. sounds like a perfect fish to me :D i might order everything besides rock today or tomorow depending on my money situation.

    my lfs has 5 4" pink color leaf fish...i was hopeing he wud gulp down the damsels but if not allwell...both are temporary tank inhabitants untill i find cuttle fish :)

    very cool. pink leaf fish, all i see are yellow ones. but they change colors so its not all bad.

    i was tempted but they wer way to expensive for a temp fish $30 each i think

    around here its 50 for a leaf fish. i hope when i get one it doesnt die. tom, did gracilaria have good filtering capabilitys for you? i will also have 10 mangroes and chaeto in the tank but i wasnt sure if this would be enough.

    Never had a chance to find out. It started breaking apart after only a week in the tank :-/. Hopefully you have better luck though.

    The guy I get fish from had a Leaf fish was asking $1400 for it, it just said Leaf fish not sure of the actual variety. It was Red I believe. He does specialize in rare fish though.
