I have a branching frogspawn and a walling hammer coral close to each other... is it ok for their polyps to touch, or will it irritate them? They don't seem to be bothered by it.

Hammer's, Torches, and frogspawn are all Euphyllia corals. They can all touch and have no issues.

Just make sure they don't touch other corals.

i lost 3/4 of my tubb's blue polyped pink birdsnest mini colony the other day when it fell onto my giant frogspawn.

yeah, I was really worried when my chili-pepper monti frag got knocked over by the urchin into the hammer the other day... fortunately it looks ok so far... I'm beginning to think that the urchin's days left in the DT are numbered, though...
