Frogspawn bubble

    Mine does this from time to time. I just figure it is exchanging water as it is always back to normal the next day. I have seen threads where they split that way also.

    Mine has been tis way for over a month.....looks fine and during the day you can hardly see it as all the poylps are fully extended

    Might be splitting that way. Google brown jelly disease as it may be that also, but I have no experience with that.

    Its not brown jelly.

    Brown jelly is a brown substance that cover the frogspawn and kills it..If your frogspawn gets that, then say goodbye to it IME, i tried everything to save my frogspawn from it.

    it is splitting heads. I had one do that for a few weeks on 8 heads. when it stopped, I had 16 heads on it. looked horrid during this time but it turned out awesome

    Agreed - mine seem to do this when splitting. I have noticed these bubbles consistently on different heads and the overall colony has only gotten bigger in about 9 months.
