I have read/heard that frogspawn tentacles are very thin and sensitive. I currently have a 1 head frag placed inside a hole in a rock. I am wondering if this is a bad placement for the coral. If it is to grow, I think I need to move it. Here is a video of my tank, and at the 24 second mark you can see what I'm talking about. What do you guys think?

I mean, its not that bad. Those palys are gunna grow a little faster then the frogspawn. But I would say give it a corner of the tank with like 5-9" around for it to grow. Alota people who have huge frogspawns put them in the corner of the tank so they can grow easier without coral around them or them taking over an entire spot on a rock.

I kinda was thinking the same thing. I think I might put it on the opposite side of the tank in the sand.

Yeah..Put it in some lower flow area. Not dead still, but some movement to keep it moving and keep some detritus off of it and stuff. My frogspawns have always done better on the sand.

I can't see the vid from work, but I know you want to keep the flesh from contacting anything that can damage it. I think putting it in a spot where it can have its own growth zone is a good idea.
