Didn't anyone watch my video??:p You gotta target feed! It really does help a bunch... I've noticed tremendous growth in my frogspawn in about a month...

I did see your video BM, great job on it too. I bought a turkey baster this weekend and tried it a few times with the thawed out mysis, brine, and plankton. I turned off the skimmer and powerheads, and target fed the zoas, goniopora and frogspawn. I'm not so sure they are actually consuming the food though. I know results from target feeding won't be seen overnight. How can I be sure they're getting any supplement from the target feeding? I had an anemone, and it was easy to tell the anemone was eating, because the size of the mouth, etc.. I might try other smaller particle foods if I can pick some up this week.

Thanks Bogie, yours wasn't too shabby either;)! I can see my frogspawn actually moving the food towards it's mouth. It is awesome to watch, it moves it's tentacles towards it's mouth. A big key is to softly "rain" food on it, not blast it. The tentacles should not move much when you feed it. As for the other corals I don't know, the frogspawn is the only one I target feed. Hope I helped out some, let me know if you have any more questions, I will try my damndest to help!

So my frogspawn has 2 heads... I'd assume one mouth at the center of each head?

That is what I understand, yes. But I can't notice movement to each head, I just notice tentacles moving the food towards the general middle. I have enough flow on mine to where you can see the mouths when the flow blows it around. Mine has 3 heads and is my fav. so far, so I am into target feeding it and watching it grow big time!

feeding one head should will nurish the whole colony. they seem to eat cyclopeze pretty easy. yeah i did not feed my frogspawn for like the first 2 months then started with cyclopeze and brine, mysis, man it took off after that.i think feeding is key to fast growth but you actully dont have to feed it.

The only reason I don't target feed is because of my tank size... Doesn't take much too cloud up a 5.5.... LOL!!!

For long time both my tanks just like when I was living long term on a sailboat...

Absolutely nothing new can come in, unless something else comes out.

Not a bad place to be when comes to saving $...but heck, so many neat things out there that sure would look great in tank...:p
