Lol I fudged up by reading too many other threads last night before I posted that >.< Everyone and their Granma says clowns hosting this or that. >.< Lol

And Vinny for the record I really meant to say I never intended on the clownfish trying to make the coral host him by getting frisky and nestling in the tenticles -SO SORRY eeeee-^_^

But again, I've seen so many pictures of FS hosting clowns and more success stories than not. Guess all I can do is keep a close eye -- like I said the FS is pretty large so I think it can handle hosting the clown, otherwise wouldn't it try to reject the clown by deflating?

LOL.Ash its all good bro. Just busting your chops a little.;)
I think the kind of Clown makes the most difference as some can be rougher with there host then others. My Maroon could kill a Euphilyia in a matter of days. Occys are usually much more gentle but from my experience it will stress the coral to some extent. Whether this stress is enough to injure or kill it would probably depend on other factors as well such as water quality, ammount of light, flow, and food available to said host.;) Good luck and please let us know how they are doing together. True unbiased reports are very hard to come by sometimes and the more we get the better off fellow reefers will be when making decisions on what fish they want for there own tanks.;)8)

Maroon clowns are awesome but can get big and chubby - I could definitely see one killing a FS but my Occy is not too big, so far I haven't seen him doing what he did last night before the lights when off - so that may be a good thing. Also at night the FS deflates and is too small for the Occy clown to sleep in. Maybe he was just being weird yesterday and had the itch to wiggle around for a little while inside the Frogspawn. :)

Me too, just took a great one. It's a little funky because the actinics are only on and my phone sorta sucks haha but its a great shot.

Notice the chalice in the background. It's either Hollywood stunner or alien eye echinopora. not sure the difference between the two if someone would chime in on that!

And here is a pic of my hammer coral from another day with the sunlights turned on. I love Euphyllia's sp.

I have all 3 of my frogspawns (pink tipped between 2 green tipps) and all of them host my occy. She is very gentle with them aswell. I have never once had a problem. Since your spawn is that much bigger compared to the clown and the fact that hes an occy, I cant see too many problems arising.
