    Here is where I would like to leave my branching frogspawn.

    I would also like it in the sand but the power head would be above it and it would be getting A LOT of flow.

    Where is the best place for it out of the two?

    IMO that is a great place for it. I have mine on top like that and it is doing great. overall i think it depends where you like it best.

    Where you have it is fine. They like low to medium flow or at least mine do.

    I have mine in the middle with medium flow. Had it for a few months now and it's been doing great:)

    my frog spawn, if it were in your tank, would do best on the substrate, behind that plate under the rock in partial shade.

    maybe mine is weird but it doesn't open in medium or more flow nor in medium high light...

    Here it is about three hours after acclimation. I think it'll really do well there.

    uh yup. me thinks it looks quite happy claic. got a good spot there then
