Frogspawn Problem?

    Never seen this before
    What is it doing?
    This is about an hour after it starting "waking" after the lights came on

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Google "polyp bailout". Hard to tell from the picture but the description sounds similar.

    I am guessing you are referring to the bubble. It may or may not be a problem. It may be a sign of a bacterial infection. Do not pop the bubble what ever you do. An iodine bath might help.

    It appears to be by its mouth and I can see what appears to be white stuff inside

    I do not think it is polyp bailout as it is not affecting the polyps they are now extended as normal

    Keep an eye on it and see what happens it may go down on its own. An iodine dip may be beneficial.

    I have read that sometimes they split this way. How long have you had it and under what lighting?

    about 4 months under T5's that I just replaced 3 weeks ago

    I see a smaller one on the other stalk too

    So i had the exact same problem with my frogspawn. I went from having one huge head and then as the one big head started splitting into two a bubble (bigger than yours) was in between the two heads while they were splitting for about 6 weeks probably but as they split into two the bubble went away. Maybe yours is just splitting into two
