My frogspawn has been doing great for a couple months but now for the past several days barely comes out. Its in a low flow area and all my parameters are normal.

    Cal: 465
    PH: ~8.0
    Alk: 7.7 DKH
    Temp: 82.0F
    Nitrate: 0
    Nitrite: 0
    NO4: 0
    Salinity: 1.025

All my fish and corals seem to be doing great and i am getting steady coralline growth. I just switched bulbs over to all ATI about 1 week ago. My fixture is Aquaticlife 6 bulb 48" 324watts total. Is this thing getting overwhelmed with light now?

Now (sorry bad pic, but you can see it much more closed up):

    Thanks!

I'd say that's a safe bet, froggies can be tempermental, If I change my lighting by 5% it shrinks for a week or so till it adjusts, just keep an eye on it;)

Should i move it or just let it be unhappy where it is for a few days until it acclimates? i must say ATI makes some nice bulbs. from outside it looks like i have a tanning bed shining through my window.

Not an expert here at all but I'd say leave it where it is while it acclimates to the lights.....I've heard those bulbs are good....I want to upgrade to them when I'm at a point to keep an anemone - my seemingly never ending quest :)

I'd consider moving it lower, I'm guessing you replaced standard stock bulbs with ATI's? I'm not a T5 guy, but I know that ATI's will prob blow stock bulbs out of the water as far as PAR goes, and with 6 bulbs, the frog should prob be near the sand bed, IMO

    My frog hates bright light

yes replaced the stock bulbs.... which were 20% dimmer at least. Its about 6" up from the sand. if it does not look better tomorrow i will stick it in the sand! Thanks for all the help. oh and should it be placed under a semi shaded overhang on the sand bed?

I'd say no on the overhang, I tried that, and results were horrible. Vinnyboombatz would be a good resource for you on this, PM him this link, so he sees it, he's helped me with mine before.

Many others will be along soon, I'm an LED guy, but I know these are prob more than 20% brighter and a different spectrum than stock, so I'd prob conseider lowering it sooner than later. You can always raise it back up once it acclimates;)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Back off your lighting period for a week, if it does not respond in a day or two move it down. The change to the coral happened after the lighting change, so acclimate the corals to the lighting.

    Moved to ------LPS corals.
