I have had my frogspawn for about a week now and he is just beautiful and fully opens and everything. But in the morning when the lights turn on (which is about 10am) it takes him hours to fully expand. 2 hours has past now and he is only maybe 1/2 expanded. Is it normal for frogspawn to take so long to expland fully?

and the frogspawn has 3 heads, soon to be 4 as one is splitting. Not aure if that matters or not.when fully expanded is about the size of my hand!

Mine depends on the day, some days it never fully expands to its full potential and other days it's out and open within an hour. Also check your flow. Mine prefers low to low/moderate flow. I've noticed that the flow has a big impact on how fast and full mine will open. You can try putting it in a lower flow area and see if that helps.

He is in a low flow area and hit sweeper tenticle gets way out there when he fully expands so I think he's happy, it just takes a while for him to open I guess lol.
