Today, my 2 heads of frogspawn retracted and i pulled it away from its rock to move it. I ended up leaving it where it was but I just noticed that it still has not come back out and the top of the coral looks like mush. I took a pic but its not the greatest. Any help?

how olds the spawn? your params are good? what type flow is it in? are there any other corals that it could be in warfare with around it? ive noticed my spawn will retract also but always springs back to life.

all params normal, ph was lower than it should be today. 8.0. added a little Marine Buffer. No other corals near by. 4 k4's in the tank but not directly pointed at this coral. I have had this coral since sept 09

They still look in tact so that is good. When they literally turn to mush that is the point of no return. Mine like very low flow and medium light under my halides. Euphyllias are sometimes weird for me. Some heads even colonies just don't want to open. I hope that isn't the case for you though! Just keep an eye on it, they should bounce back given the right conditions.
