I've got a 2 year old Frogspawn that has several heads has 2 heads that are the closest to the glass dying off. I am not sure what is causing this, but my question is whether it will spread to the rest of the coral as the rest of it looks healthy. I've checked all the chemical levels are in order. Yesterday i target fed it mysis shrimp and the coral really agressive towards it (looked like it really liked it). I would hate to have to frag is as i've never done it before and would not want to kill it. These are some of the pictures. Please tell me what you think.
The first one was taken on 10-10-2012
    And the rest on 10-15-2012

Looks to me like it could be any of the 2 things i thought of.
    1. the glass blocks the flow so it doesnt have enough water flow in the corner to get the nutrients it needs.
    2. they look like they are on the bottom of the colony so maybe they cant get enough light because the rest of the coral is blocking it.
How evenly spread is the lighting in your tank?

I think you might be right regarding the flow; i will change the direction of the current. (this is only a 6G nano tank and the power head that i have is a blasting 450GPH so to weaken the flow it is currently pointed up, it ricochets off the glass cover to the rest of the tank) I'll see if pointing it to towards the frogspawn won't be too devastating, if it will be i'll purchase a smaller PH.

Frogspawn is actually located on the top of the colony so the light should not be an issue (although it is almost time for me to replace the bulbs).

Thanks so much for your help.

It's impossible to tell from the picture, but when I had issues with mine closing up, I found almost clear flat worms. They weren't eating it, but simply aggravating the soft tissues and forcing the head to close up. Once removed, the head came right back to good health.

Interesting... I've seen some clear worms in the tank. How did you remove them?

I am sorry I meant parameters as in Alkalinity, Calcium, Specific gravity....Nitrates, Magnesium.

Wow six gallons, change any light bulbs lately?

    How about water changes?

Is the Galaxy coral near it?
