It is near galaxy which did not seem to affect frogspawn (the side closest to it looks very healthy. Galaxy did however affect a hammer that was about an inch away so i moved hammer by another 2 inches. (The numbers are so small due to a really small size of the tank it self.

Have you tried dipping it? You can use airline tubing to siphon off the dying/necrotic tissue and then you may want to give it a dip in an Iodine solution like Pro Coral cure to help prevent the spread.

Are you able to test for ALK, Ca, Mag and Phos? Also what is your Salinity at? In a nano that size I bet you might have swings causing stress.

No, unfortunately those are the only tests that i can run. If you think it is important i can buy those test kits separately. Let me know. Salinity is pretty stable at 1.024. Water doesn't really evaporate as the opening on the top is very small. The only thing that was out of norm was the temperature. Since the tank is so small little things tend to heat it up. It's around 82-84 (82 at night without the lights.) I am also thinking about the current. This branch is located where the current gets reflected and is thus may be a bit string, i tried tweaking the current but it greatly effects other corals.

You need Alk and Ca tests. Mg is a good idea too

Due to Sandy, I lost power and heat (still don't have it) I tried to maintain as much as possible, warming up a gallon (out of the 6) and adding it to the tank every few hours. Used all my flashlights to provide at least some light. It was not handling it well. So a week after loosing power i find out that it will be at least one more week before it is restored, i carry it down 6 flights to drive it to my friend. During to move, all sand has moved, frogspawn broke off the live rock. All galaxeas were buried under the sand. It was pretty much a disaster. I took out filter media it smelled so bad i had to change it. I ran the tests and of course all parameters were not good.

    Ammonia - 1.0
    Nitrite - 0
    Nitrate - 2.5
    Ph - 7.8

I dosed the tank and 2 days later the dust settled and the tank is getting back to normal. One of the galaxeas moved too close to frogspawn and i tried moving it but it positioned itself in live rock's cracks and i cannot get to it. I'll visit the tank tomorrow (Saturday) to rerun the test and glue frogspawn back to the rock. I'll also take some pictures.
