If you look closely at the beginning, you'll see that the glass panel stops the water just as a regular overflow all the lenght of the tank, thus preventing the water from going down to the sump when the pumps OFF, no pump no flow over the glass barrier. As for the fish goin in doubtfull, the glass barrier come within 1 1/2 inch of the top which will have a cover since i'm planning on wrasses.

Durring the cycle that should be short in view that my rock are mined and have no debris, i've decided to put some of my macro algae in the tank, and transfer some of my corals in as well.

    The pluming

About the pluming; well, the overflow goes into a sock to help keep my sump clean, and help my skimmer as well, so their less waste of water. The water then is redistributed by the pump to 4 outlets. 1, the skimmer, 2, the phosban and carbon reactors, 3 the return outlet to the sculpture, 4 to the fuge who also dumps into the main tank.

The overflow dumps into the sock, so does the skimmer

    The pump pick up

The return goes to the skimmer and the reactors through the valves

The Third is the return to the tank, you can see the phosban and carbon reactor in the forefront as well.

The return can be ajusted here.

Here we see the return from the pump(left) and the return from the fuge (right)

Here is the fourth return line going to the fuge

    The closet

Well i'm doing the closet space to accomodate my Ro tank, my fuge, the controllers and the balling method equipment. So first we need to clean up the place.

I've put a solid board to support the Ro bucket a 35 g tank.

I've painted the wall and ceilling with an accrylic base anti corosion paint.

Got some steel supports made up by a local whelder .

And clean them and painted them as well

    The refugium

The refugium was a bit of a problem to hook up since it was seperated from the tank via a closet and because the return pipe was going on the other side of the tank and going through 2 rooms, wow got all that, lets see

    The return pipe here

    Going in this room here

All the way on the other side of the tank in the other room here

    Got it?

The RO/DI unit is also in the other room here
