I have magic turbos for sale...haha

All my snails in the tank right themselves up. Because if they don't my pistol shrimp gets to them ASAP. Damn that pistol, little turd even tries to eat my mexican snails..

I love turbos, and they do fine for me as well. Tank is at 80F, and they always right themselves, no assistance needed.

Mine tend to die in 8-10 months, but they're such a great cleaner I gladly replace them.

The only thing I dislike about them is that they can bulldoze things that aren't tied down well.

They are also big enough that my hermits and melanurus leave them alone.

I need to replace my turbos every 3 months or so. They seem to fall victim to my nasty CUC!

Little bastards, but they all work hard to keep my tank clean so I tend to look at the sacrifice as tanking the crew out to dinner. :( Other than the hermits, they seem to do well in my system at 78-81 and params within range. Sorry to hear they're not working out for you.

My lfs sells Mexican turbo snails and regular turbo snails which are two different animals and one can self right. The Mexican turbo can right themselves, are larger and have a spherical shell. The regular turbo snails have a cone shaped shell and can not self right.

please excuse wrong words, I posted this from my phone that auto "corrects."
