    Well I guess all good things must come to an end. In this case before I had even started. That 90 that my dad gave me cracked right on the front Payne as I was filling it up with sw. I guess these things happen :(

    Uhg, sorry to hear that. Hopefully it is warrantied, but still a very anticlimactic to start a new reef tank :angry:

    On the bright side, at least it did it before you put livestock in it.

    Look on the bright side, its better to have had it happen now than later with lots of livestock loss, or even worse a house & property damaging full blown blow out. Yes it sucks but something like that couldve been alot worse for sure.

    Im really curious if you know what caused the crack.. Im literally water testing a 90 gallon in the garage...

    How thick was the glass?

    cracking tanks are a nightmare. but glad your getting back in!
