    well on sunday night my balloon molly gave birth to at least 9 fry i noticed them on monday morning but didnt have a trap to put them in and i had to go to school.
    well i got back from school to find 4 alive so i go to my lfs and get a breeding trap which i put in on monday evening then tis morning(tuesday) i found another fry so now i have 5 healthy fry swimming around in my trap

    i am very happy about this

    freshwater i cant afford saltwater atm and also i have seen so many bad thing happen to them

    has anyone ever had molly fry before if they have how long was it untill they were at a reasonable size

    However that breeding net should be perfect :) My LFS was keeping some sexy shrimp in one for awhile. I think the only animal fry too small for those holes are seahorse fry :p

    lol well no escapees yet. i think they have grown abit already as they where less than a cm when born but now are about 1.2. also ive heard that most first batches are bad so im counting myself lucky

    ok todays update

    i have just fed them some powdered food and they are turning right into there parents absolout pigs they eat so much. they are growing very fast and also are changing colour quite a bit i reckon they will be big enough to release in the early to middle of may
