FTS with the new LED light update (page 3)

I think the LED build might happen soon. I have been doing some reading and researching about it for a while.

Itd be pretty much the same thing as evolved made, only one of the two fixtures: 24 Crees with 23" heatsink from RapidLED, most likely.

Rapid LED kit is on the way! They shipped it on Fri.

 

So I got the LED kit, this is the build thread about it.

And the full tank shot with the new LED light.

Pretty excited about this upgrade, since the old light was kind of a weak sauce (dual T5).

Yesterdays parameter:
-Mag:1,150
-Cal:420
-Alk:9.5
Started to dose with BRS stuff. Just trying to bring the mag up slowly

 

great looking tank and the BRS stuff is awesome just got my stuff in yesterday

Half of the rocks in the tank is from BRS, dosing with their additives, 5 stage RODI unit is BRS too. I wish they had some stuff in stock tho.

 

^ I need to get a RO/DI unit but im in a Apt right now so grocery store water it is lol

 

Have been dosing BRS 2parts.
Todays parameter:
-Mag 1,410
-Ca 420
-Alk 11
-Phos 0
I guess I should dose Ca a bit more.

I have been manually topping off but its getting old, almost a gallon a day! I really gotta set up an ato..

 

If you want your clowns to host, move them towards the BTA with a net. Do not force them into but give them about 1 or 2 inches to escape out the sides. They should dart out and straight into the nem, then stay in it for life. Worked for me!
