Unfortunately the affordable peristaltic pumps don't pump near enough flow.50ml per hr is probably less then what the system evaporates.

Im wondering if a booster pump will work. The kind usually used to increase pressure in to units to support higher god of the unit. Any thoughts there?

I think the walbro uses gas to lubricate the impeller .don't think it'll work.

It's 50ml per minute not hour. I hope you don't have that much evaporation :)

in all honesty your best bet is to post up an ad in your local reef club explaining what you need it for and if anyone has anything sitting around that will fit the bill for a small chunk of change and you may luck out

I am against using things that werent designed for aquarium use. The problem has been stated by others previously. A strong water pump would be my choice if I had no way of making RO/DI water on the level of my tank. Not sure if you mentioned it but is there no other way to make water on the same level if not higher than your tank? If you can go higher like a second floor or something I would do that then you wont need a super strong pump. You will find it easier pumping downhill rather than the reverse.

I usually evaporate about 5 gallon per day such would be running the pump for about 6 hrs before counting the headloss (not sure those pumps are as affected by head).

I would post up locally im just not exactly sure what im looking for lol.
