Reef Aquarium Filtration: Eshopps Overflow Boxes one of these prebuilts overflows, u'd need some rubber tubing, or pvc, up to you, and a ball valve it'll take u 3 hours max to build. make sure you get the acrylic cut FOR you at lowes or homedepot or something cuz that stuff is impossible to cut at home unless you have the right tool (just an fyi so u dont make two trips)

What is the GPH on your overflow right now? You could always use a T valve and a second hose to run water to your display, then drill the fuge to gravity feed back to the sump.

Can you throw up a closer pic of your sump set up?

Dont think im goin to use an overflowbox but thx for the link. Also i dont think im goin to have any baffels in my fuge, its going to be a remote fuge so the whole 29 will be used, no baffels. inlet via spray bar or whatever and and outlet prob a 1 inch drilled whole.

works great on yours but is just not possible with my setup. your sump and fuge are at the same hight, the top of the fuge tank sits halfway up the side of my DT

I see what you are saying. Then you will haft to pump water from your sump to your fuge. Rio pumps are really small and work pretty well. Taam Rio (Rio+) Powerhead/Pump
Then you could either drill your refuge to gravity flow into your sump. Or add a additional overflow box on your refuge to flow into the sump. Then you wouldn't haft to drill it. and it could prevent any of your micro algae from going into your return and clogging your pump. Just make sure to get the additional continues syphon pump.

Could you drill the side of the fuge and sump and just let the water flow evenly through them both? that way you dont need anymore pumps or overflows.
