Ugh! I wanted to set the whole thing up tonight, so the dude went to Home Depot to get all the rest of the stuff and the stupid place closes at 9 now! Ugh so lame. So disappointed!

now mix some water up and sand until you get the rest of the stuff you need

 

That is going to look nice. I like the overflow box. I am guessing you are going to do a partial feed from the overflow to the fuge and have it feed back to the sump.

 

Making water right now! Hope to get sand tomorrow. Will any kind of sand work?

I just bought extra sand when I set up my tank and used it. I have heard of people using kitty litter for the fuge but I dont know much about it.

yeah. you can do whatever, man-made or natural, its personal preference... natural is better but also more expensive. i recommend DSB for a fuge obvs.

 

I'll get a 30lb sac! That should do....

 

dont do a DSB, just get some cheato in there.. Your pods will love you for it.
