fuge dimensions

    im building a fuge and trying to get a good idea for compartment sizes my thought was a 20" inlet/fuge on one side a 6" return in the middle and a 17" inlet/skimmer/heater...etc on other end do these dimensions seem ok:confused:

    Fuge should be 1/10 the size of display tank. 100g tank = 10g fuge

    my display tank is 120g tank and wanted to use an old 55g tank..so i guess my question would be are my dimensions too big then?

    I dont really think it matters, as long as you can fit it where you want it (in stand..ect) Im using a 20 gal long fuge for my 52 gal tank.

    yeah my tank is in a wall and the back is my laundry area so i was planning on putting the tank back there

    Sounds pretty cool man! I always try to talk the wife into letting me build a tank into the wall, I think they look so cool....

    yeah when i built the entertainment room down stairs i just added it into the plans i made the wall out of 2by12's pancaked together with 2by 12 supports all notched out i built it so i could put a truck on it and not worry about it.just incase the wife says we need a big 400 or so gallon tank..lol

    otty im awfully slow today i just got what you said so if i have a 120g tank my fuge section needs to be 12g my fuge dimensions are 20by11.5by13 which is 12.92 so i should be good then right
