    JohnO,

24/7 lighting keeps the caulerpa from going asexual and releasing all the nitrates and phosphates back in to the water column.

Reverse lighting will aid in keeping your Ph stabilized.

    Thanks Craig, very helpful info.

I guess that the PH stability os because of the O2/CO2 respiration?

I like the idea of getting the fuge going first. ;)

It will give me a little bit of experience with getting the water right, how the skimmer works, and I can set up the auto topoff.

Could I use a powerhead (maxi-jet 1200) as a return pump back into the input side of the fuge, until I set up the display and get the MAG7 going into it?

Thanks again for the wealth of Knowledge!! ::)

I am having a hard time picturing your setup here, can you draw something up for me?
The sump and refugium and plumbing that you are wanting to do would help me greatly.
A picture says a thousand words.

    Thanks for posting.

I have a picture of the fuge, and I'll get it up online with some type of plumbing diagram tomorrow.

I've got a three way birthday bash to get to (there are three of us Geminis in my family) C' ya on the flip side!!!
