'Fuge Startup Question

    Kind of a noob question but I can't seem to find the answer on earlier posts... I have a drilled 36gal bow that I am setting up and will have a 20gal sump/'fuge underneath. I have never used a sump/fuge before and was wondering, do you cycle the fuge at the same time the DT is cycling or do you cycle DT first, then use some sand/rubble from it to start up the 'fuge?
