Fulham Workhorse 7? Decent? Plus a wiring question...

Well, I got my order, mostly from DIY reef. It came on Friday when I was up north.

The packaging was compromised with no end on one side of the tube, and the w7 ballast was not in the package. My reflectors and magnets were all there though.

I hope I can actually get a hold of DIY reef since they apaprently were open their last day on Friday the 20th.

So, unless they can re send me a w7, or bare minimum refund my 37 dollars, then this w7 ballast deal was not a deal at all.

I will let you guy know how this goes Tomorrow.

 

well, DIY reef gave me a credit for the lost w7 ballast. taht was not the ideal solution as I can't buy the w7 for less than 45 elsewhere, but at least egtting my 37.56 back is better than it could have turned out.


Kudos to DIY reef for making this right, although had they packaged the shipment better they wouldn't have had to credit me, and I would not have to order another one form elsewhere and for more $$. Plus, I now won't have the ballast before turkey day when my parents get to see my tank for the first time.
