so, ive reached my fish stocking limit, now i want to go for a full blown reef, so far its two tangs, two clowns, fuzzy lionfish, condy anemone and a ?valentini puffer? (note the puffer does not touch the few zoas i have, nor does her bother the two hermit crabs)

but anyway, i sort of have a list made up of what id like to keep.
my lighting as of sometime next week will be 1 150w metal halide, probably supplemented with something blue (im open to suggestions).
so please give me a shout if these corals will kill eachother or the anemone, or if they will just drop dead.

    so, the list...

some sort of brain coral, like the look of the open brains.
    candy cane coral
    torch coral (still unsure)
    acanthastrea
    toadstool/finger leather or maybe both
    colony of zoas

and any other reccomendations you make!

    thanks, levi

What size is your tank? As long as it's not too deep I see no real problem with the light supporting those corals.

That should be plenty of light for those corals at that depth.

The puffer and lionfish are aggressive.

If you mean corals, nearly everything is going to be aggressive in some manner. Some chemically, some physically, some by overcrowding, but you won't find any coral that won't ever hurt another coral.

the puffer and the lion are already in there and believe me, they are the most docile inhabitants by far, thanks for the advice raven

Sounds good, just keep good separation between the corals. The leather/toady will be heavy chemical warfare so keep carbon in the system and change often.

What do you mean by "heavy chemical warfare"?
