    tank: fine sand/grvel,1 37 watt aqua illumnation nano, 18-20 lbs. live rock,
    size 20gal long in habitants sea hare (doing great :) pair of ocell. clowns
    m/f pair of yellow watchmen

    i'm also interseted in asexauley propagation and how would i do so
    would i just make a crater with a nail or cut it with band saw
    and if 1 is better what are the succes rate

    fungias are easy to frag. just cut it down the middle with a ban saw. just make sure the fungia is healthy and has been living and thriving in your tank for at least 6 months to a year. it needs to be in peak healthy shape. once fragged it will take a year or more to regain its round shape. try to get a piece of the mouth on each piece you cut with the band saw. however this is not super vital as it will more then likely grow a new mouth. one word of caution. if the coral is not fat and happy an you frag it it will just wither and die. thats why i suggest keeping it for 6 months to a year with regular feedings to ensure its healthiness and continues life.
