    Hi Folks :)

Yesterday I brought home a nice green/purple w pink mouth fungia. I let it get settled in and fed the tank. The fungia ate some brine. while its mouth was still open from eating my algae blenny kicked up some sand and I think some got IN its mouth.

I'm new to this coral so I'm wondering if it will be ok? Coral looks fine today, a little retracted still trying to feel out the tank but looking good.

    What say you 3reefers?

it will expelled the sand in time, they are found in sand zones, so they are use to having sand blown on them

Awesome guys, thanks :). The fungia is filling out nicely this afternoon. I've had to play with the flow in the tank but we'll figure out a way to keep everyone happy :D

You only have to feed them maybe once a week. I just turn off most of the flow and squirt some food in its mouth but try to feed the fish at same time so they don't steal the food.
