Fungus or sponge?

    Im guessing sponge but wanna make sure! If it is should I just scrape it off? If its fungus, peroxide dip?

    There's a zoanthid colony underneath that; I presume you're aware however. :)

    Looks sponge-like to me; regardless it's smothering the zoanthids, so I'd (carefully) scrape it away.

    They were opening up thru it till yesterday! Struggled today! The other colony I got that had it cleared up! Not so much with this one!

    Whatever it is is stuck on there like glue, got as much off as i could without beating the zoas up too much! WE'll see!
