Well, it just confirmed my belief that Disney's Finding Nemo was written by someone who owns a hippo tang and clown fish !!

We got in new 1 1/2-2" hippo tang yesterday. Added her to 120 gallon w/ 4 clowns. Literaly they were clowns! The clowns, new to larger tank were afraid to go to top so it looked like they'd dare each other to go to top....but not alone. I put in food then once one of them were brave enough to touch the surface, they'd all jump and swim as fast as they could to bottom corals again. We laughed so hard at them. Then.....they saw something yellow hiding behind a coral and power head........what could it be?? Well Doreen, the new hippo, spotted them and it scared the CRAP out of all 5 fish !! They all jumped, not expecting to see another fish. The baby hippo swam at them with fins raised like she was going to kick some *ss ! Then the butt shaking at them (spine ready to go) and chased them to bottom of tank defending her territory. We were shocked....we expected her to hide for a week before comming out all shy like. We were freaked thinking we got the only one agressive baby hippo. When she finally calmed down- 15 seconds or so later- she looked at them and realized they were fish and decided she'd go down and play with them. She continued to hang out with them the rest of the night and swimming around in the current of the tank.

We were amazed and shocked....and were very happy to witness the nemo/dory exchange.
