I plan to do this in a couple of months i just don't know if it will all work. I know this is a rough drawing, but it is the best that i could do. It is a 55gallon main tank with a 5.5gallon refuge and a 25gallon sump. I posted a couple of days ago about the 5.5gallon that is a mini sump/refuge right now and i agree with everyone that it is too small. I appreciate all suggestions, advice, and criticism.

That looks good. However, I would do one overflow split into two paths....one to the sump and the other to the fuge. Both with a valve to control flow. I would not have all the flow going through the fuge on the way to the sump. You do have the correct configuration though. Water from the tank, through the fuge and then to the sump. You're going to have fun with PVC!!!!

Of course the tube going fromthe tank to the refuge would intake water through a simple pvc overflow. Not like in the pic

i really like the idea of splitting the overflow into 2paths. I will definately include this when i work on it. Thanks
