A co -worker of mine is going to the Dominican in a few weeks, and will be passing by Barrie on the way back, which has a Big Al's (we don't have one here). She said she could pick me up whatever if I let her know what I need! I'm sure the prices there are way better than the LFS here. So the question is, what should I get? I've been wanting to get an anemone for my clowns, bu my tank is only 8~ months old. Any recommendations ?

I would be hesitant to purchase an anemone without seeing it although I know people do that all of the time. I guess you could have your friend take some pics and help you decide. I think that 8 months (if your tank has maintained steady levels for a good stretch of time - like 5-6 mos.) you could get an anemone IMO.

Are there any corals you've been wanting to get?

I like corals that sway with the flow, like finger coral (and not stuff like birdsnest). While we're talking about coral, I had my birdsnest in a low flow area, and it was doing great. But I moved it into a higher flow area, and now algae has started growing on it. This wasn't an issue before I moved it. I have another smaller birdsnest in high flow, and it also has algae on it. That frag isn't looking too good. The algae on it is brownish.

Is it bad to have coral in an area where the flow from the powerheads blows directly on it?

I was thinking of maybe getting a long polyp leather, lavender mushroom, and maybe some zoanthids. I also want a more diverse CuC, so maybe a cleaner shrimp or something of the like?
