The past couple days I've noticed a little fuzzy brown crab and I can't figure out what it is. I also cannot get a good pic, as soon as I move he darts into the rock.

Anyway, he's very tiny, dark brown with white "hairs." Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like a gorilla crab. Not at all reef safe.

true, one way to tell if its not reef safe is if the tips of its claws are black.

Yeah they're pretty dark. He was just under a mushroom and now it's all bunched up. How am I to get this little bugger out?

if its the same types that I had, just wait untill night when the lights are out and look with a flashligh. I had 4 crabs like that and they always come out at night to look for food, then I scooped them up
