any lion you add will eat your CBS immediately, might go after your star, clowns and lawnmower blenny. I found that dwarfs are more aggressive then even the volitan lion.

Yeah, even dwarfs can get to 6"+ and may eat most of what you have in there.

oh that sucks!! when i get him hes gonna be really small and my clownfish seem to be growing fast so i thought that they qould reach max size before him. does any one think i have enough room for both or just one and if just one witch even if it will eat all my junk in there already.

Unless you have some of the larger species of clownfish like maroons and they're already pretty old I think any lion is going to end up in the size danger zone where it might snack on your other fish.

Also, lions eat a lot and produce a lot of waste, with 3 fish already in your tank it would add a lot of bioload, I personally wouldn't put one in there just for that reason. It's going to make keeping nutrient levels low in your tank more difficult.

dwarfs are only suppposed to get an average of 6 to 7 inches in length. they dont get as big as the volitans.

I think you would want a skimmer, although large regular water changes might work on a 30 gallon too but will end up costing a bit in terms of salt.

Here's some more information if you want to look into it more, don't know if you've found this site yet, but tons of info there, lots of first-hand experiences.
