I think my fuzzy mushroom ate my naso. The fish is nowhere to be found today and it has a huge lump. Has this ever happened to any of you? The mushroom is about dinner plate sized and the poor little naso was about to be adopted by a 800g. That naso was never shy. I could just about hand feed it since the day I got it so I don't think its hiding.

i doubt a fuzzy mushroom ate it. i think its just hiding, unless the fuzzy shroom is actually an anemone then its a possibility.

I've got some huge fuzzy mushrooms and even though mushrooms are a type of anemone I doubt yours ate the tang. My clowns are always messing with the mushrooms on the rock.
Probably just hiding or possibly worse..I'm hoping for hiding:)

Here it is. After asking around it seems like other people have lost fish to them. I hear there is a picture of a huge one eating a Banggai cardinal in Eric Borneman's book.

yep little buddy got eaten. The fish sized lump in the hairy beast is now pale. I guess this goes out as a warning. Beware of the hairy mushroom.

+1 to the eating. I have heard of it happening too.
