    Merry Christmas

First off I wanna wish all you guys a Merry Christmas and thanks for all the help . On my days off I got most of the canopy done . My hands are worn out from all the sanding but in the end I think it will be worth it . I have a little more sanding to do and then comes the stain and varnish .

My set up is different then most. I personally dont like ph's in the DT, it clutters the view of the tank and sometimes kills the livestock. I use a Magdrive 18(1375 gph) as a return with about 3'&1/2 of Loc-Line spary bars. I think that the 3 MJ's should be fine and you have the Koralia 1 as a "in-case". Luna

Great job on the stand and canopy btw.

Luna I agree with you i tried to hide the PH's in the 55 in 3" pvc on the right side of the tank . After I put in the overflow on the left side a skimmer box in the middle and those two 3" tubes on the right to hide the return ,heater and PH's the tank looks clutered . I would like to find a way to make waves with out the clutter . I was thinking about one of those sea swirls on the return . Experements are expencive in this hobbie . I thought about drilling a hole in the divider on the left hand side of the tank that seperates the return and supply from the main tank and poking a PH through there ?

The spray bars eliminates the clutterness and creates flow and waves where ever you want. Luna

Thanks James I hope it looks Ok with the stain and varnish . I'm kinda leaning to a 100G rubbermaid stock tank . I plan on having it in the basement so I dont have to see or listen to much of it and I have all kinds of room for ATO and any thing else you guys talk me into adding . I have already bought a Iwaki pump for the return and I'm trying to decide on how to make waves .

I dont. You could if you wanted to. Just install a SCWD with two spray bars.

Bit of a slow down !

I got the stand and hood stained and varnished and was in the middle of bidding on some MH to go with the T5's in the hood and wham . Dec 30th work called me in and gave me a permanent lay off severence package and the door ( what a shock ) good thing I was going cheep . So i stoped bidding on the MH's and have been kind of in limbo . It's hard to spend any more money when I don't have a job but the only thing I need is a few pieces of plastic pipe and a sump . Hummm and I have all kinds of time to work on the project . What to do ? Here is the stand stained and varnished .
