Cool!

So, fighting has been my concern with SPS... what are the general guidelines for knowing which species will fight and which will not?

I've currently got a pink birds nest close to a Acro Granulosa that I'm worried about when they begin to get within reach of each other...

otherwise, I've tried keeping similar species grouped together, montis with montis, that sort of thing...

 

With coral you can keep the same species near each other in general. Species from the same genus will fight e.g. Acropora granulosa will fight with Acropora millepora. Generally SPS need to be very close or actually have contact before they fight. There may be a little chemical warfare but if you have carbon in your system there should be no problem.
You will know they are fighting when you see bleached portions of branches. I would just trim the branches to establish a neutral zone.
