The tank is looking great! It's really been purpling up!

I came home after being out of town for the weekend to find that the bryopsis is dying! However, I also came home to a couple aiptasia. Once I'm done with mag treatment, I'll be getting a peppermint shrimp to gobble them up :)

    Pics coming soon!

Anyone have any advice about my stocking list?

My list of favorites for that size tank are :)

    Firefish
    Royal gramma
    Yellow watchman goby
    Cardinal
    Clowns

I think 3 or 4 fish for a 29 gal is pretty much the limit.

Sessile means it does not move, so sessile invertibrates means corals.

I thought I recognised that aquarium! The whale shark exhibit IS amazing, huh?

I am not as impressed with their reef tank exhibit though.... the tank itself is awesome, but I found the coral selection and size to be a bit lacking, especially after visiting it when it first opened and then more recently (about 4 years apart). I hate to say it, but I kinda felt like I could do a better job... haha.

I agree completely! The whale shark tank was awesome! And I especially loved the rays and the sawtooth shark ( I think that's what he was called).

The reef was pretty but I also felt that it could have been fuller... kinda seemed empty. The fish were awesome, but there weren't as many corals as I would have liked to see. They are in the process of building a dolphin exhibit, which would be cool to see!

I got my first inhabitant today (other than CUC)!!!! And he is a spunky peppermint shrimp :) I haven't decided if I want to name him Scuttles or Louie... I will try and get a pic of him tomorrow because my lights are off for the night.

My vote is for Louie too. ;)

Skunks are my favorite cleaner shrimps. Much nice temperament than the Coral banded IMO.

I am having trouble catching Louie in a picture, but here are some snails... they're easy to photograph ;)

Also, can anyone ID that thing in the center of the last picture. It's roundish in shape and has a center "mouth" with holes circling around it.

And... I have baby snails!!! I didn't think the eggs would survive, but today I have some tiny snails on my glass :D
