The tank looks good gabby! I really like the firefish, they're one of my fav's. I saw earlier in the thread you had some bryopsis you were treating with mag.. How'd that go?

Thanks! And, yes I have an unfortunate variety of algae, but they are mostly growing on the one piece of LR. A lot of it is macro algae, with some micro, and I have also had some outbreaks of the calcareous kind (Turtleweed). I am having trouble finding something to graze on it that would fit in my tank... Any suggestions?

Great actually!! The bryopsis took about 2 months to completely die off, but it's gone now, and nothing seemed affected by it other than the outbreak of Turtleweed I had, which wasn't hard to get under control.

And yeah, I love the firefish! He's a spunky little guy... still kinda shy around my clowns though.

Emerald crabs eat just about any algae but calcareous IME.

I have considered getting one, but have heard some horror stories about them eating polyps and bothering corals. I am also concerned now that I have a nudi... do you think he would bother it?

    First corals coming today!!!

Well, I ordered my first corals, which will be here today!!! I am sooo anxious for them to get here! I also have an emerald crab coming thanks to 2in10's suggestion :)

    Corals on the way:

    Cauliflower Colt Coral
    Toadstool Mushroom Leather Coral
    Mushroom Finger Leather Coral
    Mushroom Finger Leather Coral, Green

I have done plenty of research on all of them, but is there any particular advice from experience you guys have on these? I read that the colt can be aggressive, especially towards leathers, so I plan on putting them at opposite ends of the tank.

Pics once they get here ;D

Congrats on the new adds, you might want to run carbon 24/7 to keep the chemical warfare down among the corals.
