I bought this bulb tip 4 months ago and it always hides away from light. facing downwards or sideways ! it was very badly bleached when i got it and i've been feeding it meaty food every 1,2 days and now it's better, i'm guessing it is a green BTA?

I just moved it from my old tank to my new tank a week ago, placed it on a rock facing upwards, but today it moved down , AGAIN! this time a position where it's almost impossible to spot feed it, why is the anemone behaving like that?

    water parameters
    sg 1.026
    temp 80F
    ph 8.3
    kh 11
    ammonia nitrite 0
    nitrate 5 or 10 ppm

It's just trying to find a nice safe spot to make it's home. Just let it settle where it feels comfy. If it's still too difficult to feed it, try moving some rocks away from it. The more you try to move it, the more you will stress it out and the more susceptible to injury and illness it will become.

but from that position, it doesn't really get much light?

from my above picture, is it badly bleached or are there specimens almost like it?

    like this one maybe?

Im not too knowledgeable about types of anemone and their coloration, so I will leave that to another 3reefer. About it not getting enough light, anemone are living mobile creatures. If it decides it wants to bask, it will move to a brighter spot, it is doesn't want too much light it will move out of its way and when it finds its perfect spot it will stay there. Its in a new tank, so it will adjust itself accordingly.

Very. The anemone will move around quite a bit until it finds it's ideal spot. I wouldn't worry about it unless it starts to deteriorate.

I picked up one a couple of months ago at my LFS, was about the size of a golf ball. within 2 days in my tank he had spread out to about 6" diamater, and does not like the light either, I dont mess with him, he seems to be doing fine, looks healthy, and early in the mornings I can turn my actinic lights only and he glows this awesome flourescent green color.dont stress it is all I can say about it...
