I don't know if high light will make it grow faster but the coral does do well under medium light and water flow. Keep in mind that the sweeper tentacles on these corals can get quite long so keep that in mind if placing it next to other corals.

I have mine about half way down in my 55 gal. its almost doubled in size in 9 months. You will want to keep you alk and cal up. You want to have medium flow on it so debris doesn't accumulate on it. I would accumulate it towards the bottom and work you way up to where you want it. also what kind of lighting was it under at the fish store?

The sweeper tentacles are a pita on mine they sometimes extend out a 2 to 5 inches, Ive had to move all other corals away from it.

I have target feed mine in the past but it is not necessary for it. You also have to be careful with this coral because the teeth are very easy to break(the part the polyps are connected to.)
