I've heard of mxing garlic w/ the food, but i never heard it was good for anything other than getting finnicky fish to eat.

Unless the garlic is in the form of a solid and is appropriately sized for the brine to capture and ingest, the addition of garlic will not help. Brine shrimp will eat anything that is in suspension and appropriately sized, but they only ingest liquids that may be in the food they eat so a liquid would have to be in emulsion form (suspension of a liquid in another liquid) and remain that way in the salt water for them to be able to use it.
I believe there are garlic additives that can be added to the tank, but I'm not all sold on their effectiveness.
I squeeze a garlic bulb and immediately add the garlic juice to the tank as I believe that the effectiveness of the garlic begins to degrade as soon as the bulb is squeezed.
I don't know how they can bottle it so that it is still effective but many claim to have success with those store bought garlic additives.

    HI,
I use that spirella flake that has garlic in it.
