I soak my flake and frozen food in it for about 20 minutes before I feed. That way the food has plenty of time to soak it up.

You mix the garlic in a cup with some tank water and then mix the food in there.

Should I crush the garlic in it? we're talking about an actual piece of garlic right? or is there something I'm supposed to buy?

Cheap alternative?! Just buy garlic extract from local grocery store or powdered garlic. This mixture works miracles!

    Cheers! :)

I do have a quarantine tank, but catching that fish is almost impossible....he's small, so he can hide/swim between the rocks..just a baby blue tang...
