Gate Valve mod

    hey im planning on doing a gate valve mod on my euro reef cs6-1

    question: When i T off the exit then from the T goes the gate valve and off the top of the T goes a straight pvc pipe or i still need the riser tube ?

    basically do i still need the riser tube or just a solid pvc vent tube

    Ohhhh, I just realized this was posted in the skimmer forum, and it's a skimmer question. Sorry, I just finished 18 holes of golf and there were plenty of beverages consumed if you know what I mean :beer:

    I tried the gate valve mod on my RS80 and wasnt impressed. It runs better left in its stock form.
